The purpose of the Scholarship is to provide an opportunity for the recipient to undertake tax policy related study overseas.

While the results from theScholarship Award will depend on the agreed programme, it is anticipated that the successful candidate will conduct some independent research, possibly with review by an overseas expert in the relevant area of research. This would assist in developing the candidate as well as fostering overseas networks. An overarching outcome should be to contribute to tax policy debate in New Zealand.

We are not taking applications now but follow our blog and tmnz.co.nz for announcements on when the next event will be held.
